Meet the Detectives

These are the REAL dogs and cats behind the books! Tap each card to see them as cartoons.

Wrigley

The Bold Detective · Blue collar

A golden cream goldendoodle with a world-famous nose and zero chill. If there's a clue, Wrigley has already sniffed it. Twice. He's always the first one out the door and the first to say "Let's investigate!"

Superpower: Can smell a clue from three yards away
Weakness: Charging in before the plan is finished
Catchphrase: "Keep your noses to the ground, detectives!"

Turner

The Nervous (But Loyal) Detective · Red collar

A curly black goldendoodle who is VERY brave... as long as the lights are on. Turner jumps at shadows, thunder, and sometimes his own tail. But when his brother needs him, Turner always comes through. Usually with a snack in his mouth.

Superpower: Hears a crumb drop three rooms away
Weakness: Creaky doors. And the dark. And owls.
Catchphrase: "Uh... are we SURE about this?"

Joseph

The Gentle Giant · Red bandana

A big, fluffy Great Pyrenees and the calmest dog in the whole house. When the doodles get worked up, Joseph just yawns and says it's probably the wind. He's the king of the couch and the best pillow in Montana.

Superpower: Can nap through ANYTHING
Favorite spot: The comfy couch
Nickname: Jojo

Tango

The Orange Tabby · Professional Mischief-Maker

Fluffy, orange, and full of beans. Tango loves sunny windowsills, chasing anything that wiggles, and watching the doodles run around in circles. He thinks dogs are hilarious.

Superpower: Disappears whenever it's bath time
Favorite game: Pouncing on toes under the blanket
Sound effect: The world's loudest purr

Keysa

The Calico Queen · Big blue eyes

Keysa is a calico with dazzling blue eyes, and she is the true boss of the house. (Just ask her.) She is clever, quick, and quiet as a whisper. Nothing happens in this house without Keysa knowing about it first.

Superpower: The Blue-Eyed Stare
Favorite spot: Wherever you were about to sit
Thinks the doodles are: Silly. But sweet.
